On November 3, 2026, Saginaw County voters will be asked to renew and restore the Career and Technical Education (CTE) millage that supports career opportunities for students across Saginaw County at the Saginaw Career Complex (SCC). The proposal would renew the current 0.9962 mills and restore 0.0038 mills reduced through the Headlee rollback, returning the millage to the one mill originally approved by voters in 2018.
The median home value in the Saginaw Public School District is approximately $64,600. For a homeowner with a home of that value, the 0.0038-mill restoration would amount to approximately 12 cents more in property taxes per year.

Expanding Opportunities for Students
Since the CTE millage was approved in 2018, opportunities for Saginaw County students have grown significantly:

Saginaw Public Schools owns and operates the Saginaw Career Complex in partnership with Saginaw ISD, which serves as the fiscal agent and provides CTE program oversight and quality assurance. Saginaw Public Schools students make up approximately 25% of SCC enrollment.
