Applicant Evaluation Checklist

Applicants must submit a complete application before any consideration can be given. Factors that weigh in acceptance include past academic record, attendance, citizenship and interest. In addition, all applicants will be required to take the appropriate form of a quantitative and verbal reasoning test, and complete a writing exercise. Depending on the applicant’s proposed program, additional testing, an audition, portfolio, interview or writing sample may be required. All students apply for one area of concentration:

Step 2: Schedule Admissions Testing

2025-2026 Admissions Test Dates:

  • Thursday, February 13, 2025

  • Thursday, February 27, 2025

  • Thursday, March 13, 2025

  • Thursday, April 10, 2025

  • Thursday, April 24, 2025

  • Thursday, May 8, 2025

  • Thursday, May 29, 2025

All testing sessions begin at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive by 3:50 PM, as students will not be admitted to test after 4:00 PM. Testing sessions are from 4:00-5:15 PM.

Step 3: Submit Additional Application Documentation

Applicants must also return the following current documentation from the most recent school attended:

  • Two completed Applicant Evaluation Checklists (one for current 5th grade students) from CURRENT teacher(s)

  • Transcript/Report Card

  • Attendance Records

  • Discipline Record

  • Standardized Test Results (M-STEP)
