The members of the SUHS National Honor Society were awarded a grant from the Saginaw Community Foundation. The National Honor Society conducted a service project in December. Members of the NHS and some other students from SUHS spent an afternoon picking up trash at the Janet Nash Nature Preserve, the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum, and the areas between the two locations. The SUHS National Honor Society is part of a national organization that is dedicated to service, leadership, scholarship, and character. The money from the grant will help the members continue to serve the community.
